Hey, guys and gals. Just in case you've been living under a rock, Mother's Day is Sunday. It can be difficult trying to find the perfect gift at the store, especially if you're looking to give her something different from the norm. So how about writing her a special love letter?
Love letters, poems, and anything heartfelt go a long way in showing mom just how much she is loved and appreciated. Granted, I understand that what I'm suggesting isn't a unique concept. But while this may come naturally for someone like me, others may be shy because they aren't sure the words will come out the right way when they finally put pen to paper.
But you can do it. I believe in you. She believes in you, too.
Below is something I wrote to my mom years ago for Mother's Day. I don't remember how old I was at the time, but I do remember sitting down and having no clue what to say.
Then it hit me – share a special memory. This may read a little cheesy, and I did find at least one grammar/spelling error (can you spot it?) while reading through it after all these years. But it couldn't have been more perfect – because it was from the heart.
