Upcoming Event: Steve Gamel Writing Workshops Class No. 2

The first installment of the "Steve Gamel Writing Workshops" went off without a hitch on January 11, and now it's time to start focusing on the next one. That's right – registration is officially open for my February 8 workshop: Get Started Writing (and overcome fear).

The goal for these in-person events is simple: Help you improve your writing and create a vibrant local community of fellow writers and writing enthusiasts for years to come. We'll tackle a new topic each month to benefit business professionals, students, bloggers, authors, teachers, creative writers, and anyone wishing to sharpen their writing skills.

Please register today!

Why Attend Writing Workshops?

I've always believed the worst thing any professional writer can do is spend decades perfecting their craft only to keep all those trade secrets, tips, tricks, and life hacks to themselves. As writers, we should educate and inspire the next generation, relying on our successes and failures to share what works, what doesn't, and how to steer others in the right direction.

It's the reason I wrote my book, Write Like You Mean It: Mastering Your Passion for the Written Word, and it's the reason I'm starting these writing workshops. The first event focused on how to overcome writer's block. But more specifically, what is writer's block trying to teach us? It is a fascinating topic when you consider most of us look at writer's block as the big, bad meany in the room. And it's true – writer's block is every writer's worst nightmare. But maybe, just maybe, writer's block is trying to tell us something and help us improve our writing.

I was bowled over by the positive feedback from the event, and I hope all the commentary on social media has been enough to convince more of you to show up for the next workshop!

I've learned a lot over the past 26 years. Needless to say, I've got a lot to share.

For now, these writing workshops are in-person events only. Space is also limited. So, if you're interested in joining us, please don't wait until the last minute. The QR code/link to register is in the image above, and the cost is $59 per person.

The cost covers light snacks, an excellent presentation, Q&A time, and networking. I will also have copies of my book available for purchase.

I can't wait to see you on February 8.

Thank you for reading!
