Upcoming Event: Steve Gamel Writing Workshops, Class No. 6

We aren't just "writers." We are storytellers – and regardless of whether you're a novelist, blogger, freelance writer, journalist, business owner, or wordsmith somewhere in between, you should crave every opportunity to go beyond stringing a few words together and tell a story people want to read and can't find it in their hearts to put down.

If the first few sentences of this blog post resonated with you in any way, please consider registering for the next installment of the Steve Gamel Writing Workshops.

Class No. 6 is slated for June 13 and is all about storytelling.

  • What it's supposed to look like

  • What it's not supposed to look like

  • How important it is to all facets of writing

  • How you can be better at it

As I've said many times, including in my book, Write Like You Mean It: Mastering Your Passion For The Written Word, we as writers should write compelling content that speaks to readers. More than just basic words on a page, quality storytelling should be easy to read, make others want to keep reading, and evoke emotions such as anticipation, sadness, fear, relief, surprise, or anger with each sentence.

It bothers me when I read something without passion, imagination, or human emotion. I strive to do better than that with my writing, and I hope you do, too.

Why Attend Writing Workshops?

I've always believed the worst thing any professional writer can do is spend decades perfecting their craft only to keep all those trade secrets, tips, tricks, and life hacks to themselves. We should educate and inspire the next generation, relying on our successes and failures to share what works, what doesn't, and how to steer others in the right direction.

It's the reason I wrote my book, and it's the reason I've started these writing workshops.

For now, these writing workshops are in-person events only. Space is also limited. So, if you're interested in joining us, please don't wait until the last minute.

The QR code/link to register is in the image above. The cost is $59 per person.

The cost covers light snacks, an excellent presentation, Q&A time, and networking. I will also have copies of my book available for purchase.

I can't wait to see you on June 13.

Thank you for reading!
