It seems like yesterday that we were all gearing up for what we hoped could be a prosperous 2024. And it really did turn out to be exactly that, though it feels like this year flew by at warp speed. So, before these last few days zoom by, I want to say thank you for an amazing year as your favorite writer and storyteller.
Thank you for allowing me to do something I truly enjoy. Many people don't get that chance in life, but I have. Just a few highlights from this year include:
Edit This celebrated 10 years in business.
I began hosting monthly writing workshops.
I got to work with my first summer intern.
One of my clients published his first book!
I've had the opportunity to work with more authors than ever before.
I brought on two fantastic freelance writers.
I hosted my first storyteller mixer, and it was a smashing success.
I've grown my new client list exponentially.
I've had the opportunity to do more speaking engagements.
And that's just what I could think of off the top of my head. There are countless more blessings, such as opportunities to serve my community, pour into students who want to be writers, share my knowledge, tell countless stories, and be more present with my wife and kids. I can set my own hours, deliver quality work, and still have a life.
So again, thank you!
Thank you for allowing me to be the best storyteller possible. To me, doing so always means so much more than a writer interviewing a source. It's two people getting to know each other, and it's you sharing who you are, what makes you and your business different, what keeps you up late at night, and so much more.
And then, I have the honor of using my words and your voice to tell a really neat story.
I will leave you with this, and I know that I always say it: I had no clue if any of this would work when I started this journey over a decade ago. I believe in myself, but there are many things that we can't control in life. In my mind, starting a small business from scratch was one of those uncontrollable things. But here I am, and I have you to thank for that!
Thank you for a great 2024, and I can't wait for an amazing 2025!
