New Year, New Storytelling Needs? Call Edit This for Help

We're not even two full days into another new year, and I bet you're hard at work on a litany of exciting personal and professional goals you've set for yourself. If at least one of those goals is to beef up your storytelling needs, let me be the first to say congratulations.

Everybody has a story to tell, and it's high time that yours gets told.

Perhaps you want to finally ...

  • Write that novel you've been talking about.

  • Craft more compelling website content.

  • Start a blog ... and make money doing it.

  • Write a short story, script, or screenplay.

  • Start a company newsletter.

  • Write for local magazines and newspapers.

As I wrote in a recent blog post about storytelling, we are all storytellers deep down in our core. Even if you don't fancy yourself as a professional writer yet, telling stories brings us all together. You may simply need help understanding how best to tell your unique story, grab a reader's attention, and keep improving your storytelling skills.

Edit This® Is Your Storytelling Partner

At Edit This, we have just as much of a passion for storytelling as you do. The only difference is that we've made a career out of it. Our goal is to sit down with you, get to know you and your journey, ask questions, understand your storytelling goals and who your ideal audience is, and then work together to bring it all to life.

Sometimes, that may mean having us write everything from scratch.

Other times, it means a more collaborative approach where we take what you've already written and find ways to improve it in ways you never dreamed possible.

For instance, we recently spoke to a gentleman who has had a rough draft of his manuscript sitting in a dusty drawer for the past 30 years. He is finally taking the leap to get it published but needs an expert team of editors to read it, point out what may be missing, and smooth out the rough edges. We started on that project this week!

We're working with another gentleman in Florida. His kids have pestered him for years to write his life story. He insists that he's not a good writer, so we're ghostwriting it for him!

Beyond books, we just signed up a law firm in Illinois that needs help with blogs.

We also just wrapped up writing website copy for a healthcare agency.

The Moral of The Story: We Are Your Storytellers

We applaud you if one of your 2025 goals is to beef up your storytelling needs. We're also sure you'll do a great job turning those goals into a reality with unique written content. But if you need a writing or editing partner to shoulder the load, give Edit This® a call today!

We like to say we handle anything involving the written word. We do it all, from newsletters and website copy to books, blog writing, speeches, and everything in between.

If it involves the written word and ways to improve storytelling, we've probably worked with it.

Our writing and editing services cover clients nationwide but are local to anyone in Denton, Corinth, Lake Dallas, Shady Shores, Hickory Creek, Lewisville, Flower Mound, Highland Village, Argyle, and the rest of DFW.
